Position: Float Pool – Critical Care RN
Location: New York
Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
EMR: Epic
Pay: $2080/weekly gross for local (less than 75 miles) and $ 2500/weekly gross for travel
Job Highlights
- Floating Required: Yes – this is a float position
- Float Areas: All hospital units except Psych and ED (unless managing holds)
- Patient Ratio: May float to Med-Surg and take up to 6–7 patients
- Unit Type: Critical Care Float Pool

- Stroke / Neuro / AMS
- Sepsis
- Respiratory Failure

- Post-STEMI (CTICU)

Specialty Equipment
- IABP
- CRRT
- Ventriculostomy
- ICP Monitoring

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Active NY RN License (required at time of submission)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Locals accepted: Yes (local rate applies if within 75 miles)
Additional Information
- Block scheduling not guaranteed
- Must be flexible to float between various units as needed
