Position Overview
The SharePoint / Microsoft 365 Specialist supports the design, development, administration, and maintenance of the OCFO s SharePoint Online environment and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
This role is ideal for a junior-to-mid-level professional with foundational experience in SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 who is looking to grow within a federal environment. The Specialist will work closely with stakeholders to enhance collaboration sites, document management, and workflow automation supporting acquisition and contracting operations.

Key Responsibilities
SharePoint Administration & Maintenance
- Maintain and manage SharePoint Online sites, site collections, lists, libraries, and permissions
- Monitor site performance, storage, and usage; escalate issues as needed
- Apply change management procedures to ensure controlled updates to production environments
- Manage user access in compliance with security and governance policies
- Design and develop workflows using Microsoft Power Automate
- Build and maintain Power Apps solutions for data entry, tracking, and process automation
- Troubleshoot and support legacy SharePoint Designer workflows
- Support modernization efforts transitioning legacy workflows to Power Automate
- Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Outlook
- Support collaboration tools for document management and acquisition workflows
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement SharePoint-based solutions
- Assist with onboarding and user support for collaboration tools
- Maintain technical documentation for SharePoint configurations and workflows
- Develop user guides, job aids, and training materials
- Provide end-user training and support
- Generate reports on site usage, workflows, and activity for governance and audit purposes
- Ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards
- Recommend enhancements to improve usability and performance
- Participate in periodic environment reviews and improvement initiatives
- Stay current with Microsoft 365 updates and recommend adoption where appropriate
Education
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred)
- Associate s degree with relevant certifications accepted
- Minimum 2 years of SharePoint Online administration experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Power Automate workflow development
- Experience working with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, OneDrive, Outlook)

- Experience in federal government or contracting environments
- Familiarity with acquisition or contracting workflows
- Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility standards
- Experience with Microsoft Purview or data classification tools
- Familiarity with FedRAMP / Microsoft GCC environments
- Experience integrating SharePoint with Power BI for reporting
- Experience supporting small-to-mid-size SharePoint environments
