Job Summary
You will help employees with their timecards and pay, support payroll processing, and make sure timekeeping information is accurate. You will also help improve processes and support employees in using self-service tools.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll & Timekeeping
- Answer employee questions about timecards and pay.
- Check and correct timekeeping information before payroll is submitted.
- Use time and attendance systems; run simple reports or tests.
- Process pay changes such as corrections, bonuses, awards, and reimbursements.
- Enter pay updates like raises or cost-of-living changes.
- Help enter payroll for regular and special pay runs.
Employee Support & Self-Service
- Teach employees and supervisors how to use timekeeping tools.
- Review and validate special or one-time pay requests.
- Provide in-person support during scheduled office hours.
- Share feedback on tools or processes that could be improved.
Process Improvement
- Support projects that improve timekeeping or payroll tools.
- Help standardize processes and promote self-service options.
- Suggest simple ways to make work easier and more efficient.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Accounting, or related field OR high school/GED plus 2 years relevant experience.
- 2 years of experience in payroll, timekeeping, or HR operations.
- Basic knowledge of payroll rules and timekeeping systems.
- Experience in a busy or large work environment (preferred).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good organization, data review, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with HR/payroll systems (Workday preferred).
- Knowledge of basic process-improvement methods (like Lean) is a plus.
Charleroi, PA & Rostraver, PA (1 day/week at each site for 2 hours; rest is remote)
Salary : $25 - $26
