Status: Full-Time Hourly FLSA classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of the Position: The Program Coordinator is responsible to assist the Program Director and Administration with daily program operations to ensure effective and compliant service delivery.
- Program Coordinator should have a strong knowledge of the day-to-day operations of their program, particularly as it relates to contract compliance, service delivery, and the participants intake/referral process for services.
- The work has less to do with general office duties than with assisting in the operation or administration of a local program/unit.
- Position will also perform Advocate duties. Applicant must be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in community, school, and home settings.
The position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, and activity reimbursement.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is generally preferred.
- Commensurate experience in community-based agency program is acceptable except for programs where the referring authority requires a specific degree.
- At a minimum, at least one year previous experience in managing personnel and budgets.
- Experience working with youth in community, school, or home settings.
- Strong understanding of program operations, service delivery standards, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with youth, families, community partners, and program staff.
- Strong organizational skills
- Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus
- Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage.
