The Forklift Operator/Laborer performs general labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, moving, and re-palletizing materials in a safe and efficient manner.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Forklift Operator/Laborer performs general labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, moving, and re-palletizing materials in a safe and efficient manner.
Essential Functions
- Operate assigned forklift equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Understand and follow all Federal, State, Local, and Corporate safety regulations and policies.
- Complete daily equipment inspection reports and notify supervisor of any problems.
- Gather materials together in logical order and arrange in locations for shipment.
- Load and unload materials on various styles of trucks.
- Work with Supervisors, CSR’s, and Sales to ensure the accuracy of every load.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Prior forklift operation experience required.
- Ability to work extended hours as needed.
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
- Ability to read and understand detailed instructions on picking and/or loading tickets.
- Perform all work in accordance with YBP Safety policies.
- The work is performed outdoors and/or indoors, enduring heat, cold, rain, dust, wind, and other elements.
- Capable of operating various types of heavy equipment and/or machinery.
- Capable of climbing in and out of assigned equipment repetitively.
- Physical demands include but are not limited to walking, sitting, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 90 pounds.
