Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Personal Training and Fitness Instruction skills, including experience creating individualized workout programs and coaching members safely.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Circuit Training and Sports Coaching to support varied training methods and small group or sport-specific conditioning.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Nutrition principles to help members align lifestyle habits with their fitness goals.
- Current nationally recognized personal training certification (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA) and CPR/AED certification required or obtained within a defined timeframe.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support people of diverse backgrounds, ages, and fitness levels.
- Experience working in a community, nonprofit, or membership-based fitness setting is beneficial.
