Duties
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing plates to support smooth restaurant operations
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of pots, pans, and dish racks safely and correctly
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas meet food safety management standards
- Support food preparation activities by organizing kitchen tools and supplies as needed
- Follow proper food handling protocols to uphold hygiene standards in all cleaning processes
- Contribute to overall kitchen cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work areas regularly
Skills
- Prior restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, especially in busy dining or catering environments
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitizing procedures within a commercial kitchen setting
