Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment following established food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support the culinary team.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas meet sanitation standards.
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and assisting with the removal of trash and recyclables.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including dishwashers, sinks, and other related tools.
- Follow proper manual handling techniques when lifting heavy pots, trays, or supplies to prevent injury.
- Adhere strictly to kitchen health and safety standards, including food handling and sanitation protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
