Mission:
Xurrent is seeking a Senior Accountant to help build and scale our finance and accounting function. As the second U.S. accounting hire, this role will be pivotal in establishing strong accounting processes and supporting the company’s rapid growth. Responsibilities:
- General Ledger: Own consolidations including Fx accounting. Maintain accurate general ledgers by posting journal entries, and ensuring transactions are properly recorded. Be a key player in transitioning GL activities in-house. Help the Controller lead the accounting function, interacting closely with subsidiary accounting leaders.
- Month-End and Year-End: Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring that financial reports are prepared accurately and on time.
- Account Reconciliation: Perform or assist teams with various reconciliations, which may include ASC 606 revenue, bank accounts, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, pre-paids, and other financial data to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Review & Audits: Assist with monthly flux analysis, support the year-end audit and tax processes, providing essential data and documentation as required.
- Ad-Hoc: Support the Controller and CFO with special projects as needed.
- Innovate: Lead and participate in implementation projects, driving efficient and scalable accounting solutions.
Requirements:
- BS/BBA in Accounting related field
- 6-7 years of relevant accounting experience (preferably in a startup environment).
- Hands-on and detail-oriented with a strong understanding of GAAP principles.
- Experience with NetSuite is required.
- SaaS Experience is a must
- Ramp Experience is preferred
- International accounting/multi-entity experience is required.
- Self-starter, open to navigating through ambiguous environments.
- Hybrid work schedule based out of our Austin office.
