This role collaborates with build team analysts, Super Users, department leaders, and end-users to ensure high-quality education and onboarding. The ideal candidate has an understanding of the Epic system and EpicU functionality, strong planning and communication skills, and a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the organization.

The Epic Training Team Coordinator participates in new and ongoing training projects, coordinates and provides efficient systems training for upgrades, new projects, new users, and ongoing support. This role collaborates with build team analysts, Super Users, department leaders, and end-users to ensure high-quality education and onboarding. The ideal candidate has an understanding of the Epic system and EpicU functionality, strong planning and communication skills, and a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in new projects at an enterprise or service area level as required.
- Provide and coordinate training for new users and ongoing support.
- Collaborate with Epic Wisconsin, clinical and business analysts, super users, and department leaders to review and improve training environments, processes, and curriculum.
- Act as a liaison for end-users, providing excellent customer service.
- Foster an inclusive and engaging training environment adaptable to diverse learning styles.
- Build positive relationships with trainees and stakeholders, gathering feedback to enhance training outcomes.
- Provide ongoing end-user support, including help desk ticket responses, email inquiries, and phone calls regarding workflows and procedures.
- Manage Epic training data, registration, and completion tracking; escalate issues when necessary.
- Secure training resources (rooms, workstations, equipment) for both virtual and in-person sessions.
- Execute employee onboarding programs for EHR training, ensuring appropriate Epic training tracks are assigned.
- Outline and implement additional educational and communication plans.
- 1 year experience in adult education, EMR workflows, or hospital environments.
- Epic training experience and certification preferred, or EpicU administrator experience preferred.
- High attention to detail, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, lead others, and communicate the importance of training to all stakeholders.
- Project management and marketing/communications experience.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to sequence activities logically to meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills across administrative, management, and patient care environments.
- Proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
- Associates Degree preferred
- Any Epic certification preferred
- Up to 20% (this includes ‘go-live’ implementations) Physical Requirements
- Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally in carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling objects. Sitting most of the time, with walking and standing required only occasionally.
