Job Summary
The Xtensys Epic Community Connect Program Director is responsible for our Epic EHR system’s overall community connect program offering to our customers. The Community Connect Program Director understands the technology and business landscape in regard to our customers and aligns systems and services to attract and retain these key customers/relationships. This director provides support and guidance to analysts as they manage the implementation and ongoing services offered to our customers in partnership with other leaders. The program director collaborates with other Xtensys leaders to establish and provide for consistent and standardized deployments and service offerings to maximize operational efficiencies and value.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring all community connects projects and practice initiatives are
managed to establish milestones within budget and have outstanding outcomes. This director will partner with key stakeholders and his/her leader to overcome any roadblocks to meet the needs of the business. This will include effective and efficient management of analysts, consultants, and third-party vendor services where applicable. The program director will be responsible for ensuring meetings are provided for, giving updates of key initiatives, areas of concern, and general awareness and direction of the Community Connect program. As well as participating in governance and other IS and business leadership forums to provide program updates, advocate for new customers, and relay information requested.
Functions as a leader within the Application division and a key point of contact for all levels of management. Collaborates with other leaders throughout Xtensys to provide a unified, high-quality, service-oriented program. Aligns resources to ensure Xtensys and its customers’ vision and business strategies will be met, integrating operational and organization processes, applications, and technologies. Will be highly engaged with customers, providing them with an understanding of Xtensys’s Community Connect roadmap, awareness of future updates, and ensuring adoption and training plans are implemented for a seamless transition to new versions and features of the Community Connect system and services.

In This Role, You Will
- Participate as a key member of the Application’s Division management team in
- Collaborate with appropriate resources, facilities, physician leadership, and best

- Ensure the community connect systems and services are implemented,

- Support the VP of Applications in delivering the community connect vision and

- Document, communicate, and enforce policies for standardizing system in
- Supervise, educates and train staff related to the community connect program.
- Manage the overall development, implementation and oversight of the

- Undertake ad-hoc assignments as required to react quickly and positively to new

Who You Are & What You’ll Bring
- 7-10 years of experience in healthcare application experience.
- Five or more years in an IT management position with responsibility for
- Community Connect.
- Robust experience with multiple software applications, systems analysis/design,
- Robust issue tracking and resolution skills
- Strong ability to prioritize, organize, and assess work in order to meet
- Experience developing presentations for project work.
- Strong ability to work well in a diverse, multi-disciplinary team and
remote teams.
- Solid skills in documenting and analyzing business process & proven problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, and effective
- Ability to plan and facilitate meetings with diverse participants.
- Ability to maintain a professional attitude and demeanor in both normal and

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant certification in Healthcare, Business
- Certification in Epic modules supporting Population Health, Community
preferred.
