I’m working with a well-established, growing manufacturing organization that is looking to add an accounting leader to its team. This is an exciting opportunity for a current Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or Controller who wants meaningful visibility with executive leadership and the opportunity to grow with a private equity-backed company.

Compensation: Up to $150K-$160K base substantial bonus

Schedule: 5 days/week onsite

Title: Assistant Controller / Controller

CPA Required

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, payroll accounting, and treasury support

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process

• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements across multiple entities

• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, accounting policies, and internal controls

• Manage the annual audit process and serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors

• Partner with executive leadership to provide financial analysis and insights that support business decisions

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning

• Identify and implement opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiencies

• Support accounting integration related to acquisitions and other strategic initiatives

• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture

• Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Operations, Manufacturing, Sales, HR, and Executive Leadership

What we're looking for:

• CPA with 5 years of progressive accounting experience

• MUST have a combination of public accounting and private industry experience

• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting

• Experience with month-end close and financial reporting

• Experience mentoring and developing accounting staff

• Strong Excel and ERP experience

• Manufacturing or industrial experience is a plus

• Inventory/cost accounting and multi-entity reporting experience are highly valued

• Exposure to M&A, acquisitions, integrations, or process improvements is a plus
