Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its corporate accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA with strong month-end close and financial reporting experience to step into a visible leadership role supporting a national operation.
This position will oversee core accounting functions, manage and mentor a small team, and partner cross-functionally to improve processes, controls, and reporting accuracy within a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses
- Oversee accounting areas including revenue recognition, lease accounting, payroll, and cash management
- Partner with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and improve reporting processes
- Support budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis activities
- Maintain and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Assist with external audits and coordinate with third-party tax providers
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Active CPA required
- 5 years of accounting experience within public accounting, industry, or a combination of both
- Strong Excel skills
Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
