Position Overview
XL Pro Staffing and Consulting is seeking an experienced MIG & TIG Welder to join a team in Mesquite, TX. This position is responsible for inspecting, repairing, welding, and testing equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with OEM specifications. The ideal candidate has previous welding experience, strong mechanical skills, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and inspect units and machinery for defects or damage.
- Perform MIG and TIG welding to repair or restore equipment.
- Identify and replace defective parts and components as needed.
- Replace fans, capacitors, and other necessary components.
- Clean, fully test, and calibrate equipment according to OEM specifications.
- Perform full-load capacity testing to ensure proper functionality.
- Maintain quality and safety standards throughout the repair process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Previous welding experience required.
- Must have experience with both MIG and TIG welding.
- Ability to inspect equipment and identify defective components.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to follow written instructions and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work the assigned schedule.
