About The Role
Xico Lighting is seeking an experienced and driven Purchasing & Logistics Lead to join our growing operations team. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and understands the importance of a resilient, responsive supply chain. You will own vendor relationships, negotiate pricing and terms, manage purchase orders, and coordinate all aspects of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Working closely with the Director of Operations and in collaboration with our materials planning team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the availability of parts and materials to support our production goals. This role is ideal for someone who is both strategic and detail-oriented, capable of thinking long-term while executing with speed and accuracy.

What You’ll Do
- Identify, qualify, and manage vendor and supplier relationships.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and payment terms to optimize cost and reliability.
- Issue and track purchase orders and confirm delivery schedules.
- Coordinate logistics for inbound materials and outbound shipments.
- Resolve supply issues and escalate risks as needed.
- Work closely with planning and inventory teams to align supply with demand.
- Monitor supplier performance and lead ongoing vendor reviews.
- 5 years in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Experience with logistics coordination and freight management.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Rootstock, etc).
- Highly organized, process-driven, and proactive.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, collaborative team environment.
