Position Overview
We are seeking a high-caliber, hands-on Traveling Superintendent with at least 7 years of dedicated experience managing complex, high-tolerance industrial and advanced manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Field Execution: Serve as the lead field authority, driving day-to-day operations, sequence scheduling, and subcontractor coordination for complex manufacturing environments.
- Technical Oversite: Oversee structural steel erection, precision heavy equipment foundation concrete pours, high-purity process piping, and complex MEP utility infrastructure.
- Safety Identity: Maintain a zero-compromise safety environment, utilizing behavior-based pre-task planning aligned with the companyโs elite internal safety standards.
- Owner Alignment: Coordinate closely with the Project Manager and client Program Directors to manage fast-track schedule pacing without sacrificing quality.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience as a Superintendent specifically within advanced manufacturing, automotive/EV supply chain, pharmaceutical/cleanrooms, aerospace, or heavy food/beverage process plants.
- Project Profile: Proven track record running fast-track industrial builds in the $20M - $100M range. (Candidates whose sole experience is standard tilt-wall retail distribution warehouses or standard commercial office buildings will not qualify).
- Technical Mastery: Deep proficiency in structural steel coordination, high-tolerance slabs, and sophisticated MEP/industrial building envelopes.
- Travel Flexibility: Must have a proven history of long-term travel and a willingness to be stationed on-site in Albany, NY for the duration of the project.
