The Role:
The Wellness Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the Club space while supporting guest relations and service delivery. This role requires a strong attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to upholding THE WELL’s standards in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment.
Reports to: Wellness Manager
Supervises: Not a supervisory position
The Responsibilities:
Janitorial & Organizational Services
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized environment across all areas of the club and back-of-house, including both team member and guest-facing spaces.
Inspect, clean and maintain locker rooms, restrooms, lounge, bath house elements, shower areas and fitness floors throughout the day.
Empty trash containers and towel bins.
Keep work areas and equipment clean, organized, and fully stocked.
Replenish towels, amenities and all other supplies for guests.
Ensure sanitizing of all fitness center equipment after each use.
Prepare lockers for member and guest use and restock amenities throughout the day.
Spot-check and disinfect high-touch surfaces, restrooms, and showers regularly.
Follow detailed opening and closing checklists, including but not limited to dusting, mopping, sweeping, organizing, and disinfecting.
Ensure all linens are stocked and ready for member/guest use and treatments.
Prepare for the day all guest service areas including but not limited to the cold plunge, infrared sauna, gym, and movement studio.
Turn around Movement Studio between classes by sanitizing fitness equipment, dusting the floor and preparing it for the next class.
Keep loose fitness equipment organized.
Guest Relations
Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
Greet guests upon arrival and provide a tour of the facility if required, serving as a brand ambassador for THE WELL. Provide fond farewell upon guest’s departure.
Deliver exceptional service by following THE WELL’s guest protocols and demonstrating genuine care and attention to detail.
Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
Consistently track and update guest preferences in their profiles, sharing relevant details with the team.
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information, including medical and personal data.
Immediately report guest complaints to the Leader on Duty for timely and effective resolution.
Assist members with operational questions on equipment as well as small equipment usage on the fitness floors.
Help members with touchless technology services available for members on the Fitness Mezzanine, ensuring a good experience throughout the service for the guest.
Health & Safety
Maintain day-to-day responsibility for cleanliness, equipment, and product standards.
Complete required training on health and safety laws, as well as hygiene and sanitation protocols.
