The Role:
The Esthetician is a licensed skincare professional responsible for delivering exceptional, personalized treatments in a wellness-focused environment. This role requires a strong foundation in skin anatomy, the ability to assess client needs, and the expertise to determine appropriate services based on contraindications and desired outcomes. Success in this role requires professionalism, sound judgment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, while maintaining a commitment to ongoing education, client care, and excellence in service delivery.
The Responsibilities:
Treatment Delivery
Perform customized, high-quality esthetic treatments in accordance with THE WELL’s protocols and within licensed scope of practice.
Begin and end services on time, following all prescribed procedures and service standards.
Maintain treatment room setup and cleanliness before, during, and after services.
Perform daily prep work and room restocking as per spa protocols.
Use professional products in compliance with PAR levels to reduce waste.
Maintain fluency in advanced skincare techniques and technologies (e.g., LED therapy, microcurrent, dermaplaning).
Successfully complete all required technician training programs and demonstrate ongoing competency in all services.
Guest Relations
Provide intuitive, empathetic service tailored to individual guest needs.
Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues
Educate guests on post-treatment care and skincare routines.
Maintain accurate, detailed guest notes in THE WELL’s CRM to ensure personalized and consistent service across visits.
Respect client confidentiality and uphold privacy at all times.
Health & Safety
Adhere to all sanitation, sterilization, and safety protocols in accordance with state law and THE WELL standards.
Deliver services only within the licensed scope of practice and comply with regional regulations.
Promptly report guest or team-related incidents to leadership.
Attend all mandatory meetings, trainings, and workshops.
Follow all company policies related to scheduling, attendance, safety, and conduct.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace at all times.
Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as scheduled.
Retail & Revenue Contribution
Educate guests on THE WELL’s curated retail offerings and recommend products that align with treatment plans and wellness goals.
Consistently meet or exceed personal retail and service performance goals.
Actively promote service enhancements, wellness programs, and additional offerings to support guest outcomes and club revenue.
Contribute to client retention through elevated service and consistent follow-up.
Brand & Service Philosophy Standards
Represent THE WELL with professionalism, warmth, and discretion at all times.
Maintain a polished, well-groomed appearance in accordance with THE WELL’s grooming standards.
Collaborate with other wellness practitioners to deliver integrated guest experiences.

Demonstrate genuine enthusiasm for health, wellness, and continuous self-development.
Must uphold strict confidentiality of all guest and company information, including VIP interactions, and consistently demonstrate professionalism and discretion in alignment with THE WELL’s standards.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited esthetic school.
Valid esthetic state license in good standing.
Strong knowledge of skin anatomy, treatments, and contraindications.
Proficient in both foundational and advanced skincare techniques.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Professional demeanor with a positive, collaborative attitude.
Technologically proficient; able to use scheduling and CRM systems.
Passionate about wellness, skincare innovation, and continued professional growth.
Flexibility with schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
