Title: Service Desk Temp

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT incidents and service requests via phone and deskside support
  • Gather relevant information to diagnose issues and provide resolution at first contact when possible
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate support teams and track through resolution
  • Support end users with desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral hardware and software issues
  • Utilize remote support tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in an IT support or help desk role
  • 1–3 years of call center or customer-facing technical support experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows services)
  • Familiarity with macOS and/or Linux is a plus
  • Experience using remote desktop and remote support tools
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
  • Proficiency with Active Directory for user account, group, and permission management
  • CompTIA A certification preferred
