Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud production and development systems
- Deploy, monitor, automate, and manage enterprise solutions and services in AWS
- Support the tools, infrastructure, and monitoring that enable the software development lifecycle with a focus on developer efficiency, release velocity, and product quality
- Maintain an accurate inventory of server, storage, networking software and hardware, and virtual environments to support scaling for project requirements and production demands
- Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to build and support continuous integration and deployment tooling
- Leverage AI tools for coding, code reviews, and infrastructure troubleshooting
- Proactively identify and implement solutions to prevent future problems and automate processes to enable engineers to self-service their operational requirements
- Deploy and maintain distributed systems, micro-services, and RESTful service-oriented architectures within cloud environments
Skills:
- Comprehensive experience with AWS, including Amazon S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, ElastiCache, CDN, and Route 53
- Strong proficiency in CI/CD practices and the ability to build infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, AWS CodeBuild, CodePipeline, and CloudFormation
- Proficiency in serverless environments including ECS and Fargate
- Strong proficiency in shell scripting and Python
- Strong proficiency in Docker containerization, system administration, and troubleshooting
- Deep troubleshooting skills involving log analysis, traffic tracing, configuration verification, and automation tooling
- Knowledge of security, networking, and database technologies including Postgres, MySQL, and Redis
- Experience with deploying and maintaining Amazon MSK
- Experience with RESTful services, service-oriented architecture, distributed systems, and micro-services
- Ability to work independently, self-teach new systems and designs, and communicate proactively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to collaborate across global teams, including periodic evening availability to work with engineers in the IST time zone
Experience:
- 5 or more years of experience in software, systems, or networking development
- A minimum of 2 years in a dedicated DevOps engineer role focused on software development
- Experience deploying and maintaining Discourse and Drupal in AWS, as well as systems within Adobe Cloud
Qualifications:
- No specific degree or certification is required, though demonstrated expertise and equivalent professional experience in relevant technical disciplines will be considered

Salary : $70 - $85
