To assist the department manager in coordinating department personnel in order to meet department goals on a daily basis.
- Hand out work assignments per production requirements.
- Evaluate situations and analyze informatioin and report findings.
- Walk through and follow up on special orders.
- Assist in inventory production control - cycle count inventories.
- Coordinate and prioritize work duties necessary to make standards for approximately 8 or more regular subordinates (OR) 10-15 complex functions.
- Train new employees.
- Identify and work bottleneck areas.
- Breakdown orders.
- Order interdepartmental supplies.
- Assist employees and answer questions.
- Inspect and evaluate raw materials.
- Report non-compliance of safety rules and/or housekeeping standards to department managers.
- Advise employees on quality/safety concerns.
- Communicate problems/issues; recommend change.
- Provide input to department manager on department employees' performance.
- Complete daily paperwork.
- Fill in for department manager as needed.
Summary of Company Benefits:
Starting pay is offered at $20.50 per hour.
