ACCOUNT EXECUTIVES needed at one of our AI powered investment intelligence platform clients! On site in Charlotte highly preferred but open to fully remote anywhere in the US for the right candidate. Base $85k - $120k x2 OTE plus EQUITY! Ideally 2 - 7 years of experience selling into hedge funds, asset managers, PE firms or really any capital markets firm. Also open to someone with SDR experience that is ready to move into an AE role.
Our client is a high-growth, Charlotte-based fintech startup on a mission to modernize the institutional investment industry through centralized data access and AI-driven insights. They provide the leading software platform for institutional investors to find, monitor, and connect with each other. Backed by prominent investors, they are expanding rapidly – and they're building a powerhouse team to drive their next phase of growth.
They're looking for two dynamic Account Executives to join their sales team as their 2nd and 3rd sales hires. In this role, you will report directly to their founding VP of Sales and work closely with the CEO and leadership team on a daily basis. This is a full-cycle B2B SaaS sales role – you’ll take deals from initial prospecting through demo and due diligence to close, for both outbound and inbound opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the full sales cycle – from researching and prospecting new leads to running demos, negotiating terms, and closing deals with institutional investors.
- Drive outbound outreach to high-potential prospects (hedge funds, VCs, private equity firms, etc.) while skillfully managing and converting inbound inquiries.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline: diligently track opportunities, provide accurate forecasts, and consistently meet or exceed monthly/quarterly revenue targets.
- Demonstrate their value: Become an expert in the platform and industry use cases to deliver compelling product demonstrations and articulate their AI-driven insights solve clients’ challenges.
- Collaborate with leadership: Work closely with the VP of Sales and CEO on strategic deals, share market feedback to influence product roadmap, and help refine their go-to-market strategy.
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of B2B SaaS sales success, although they're open to more experienced candidates if you’re a great fit otherwise.
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets in a full-cycle sales role – you know how to build pipeline and close deals.
- High-energy and enthusiastic – a self-starter with a strong work ethic and genuine excitement

Salary : $85,000 - $120,000
