Senior Business Development Manager – Physical Security Services
Location: New York City Metro Area (Required)
Reports To: Chief Revenue Officer
Position Overview
The Senior Business Development Manager plays a critical role in driving growth for a leading physical security services organization, specializing in enterprise security solutions, manned guarding, and integrated security services. This role is responsible for executing strategic sales initiatives established by the Chief Revenue Officer, developing new client relationships, and expanding the company’s presence across key vertical markets.
Using proven sales methodologies and deep industry experience, the Senior Business Development Manager will proactively generate opportunities, manage the full sales cycle, and partner closely with internal teams to deliver customized security solutions that protect people, property, and assets.
Key Responsibilities
• Proactively identify, source, and develop new business opportunities within the physical security marketplace, with direct responsibility for new client growth.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline of enterprise security opportunities, from lead generation through contract execution.
• Collaborate closely with the Chief Revenue Officer, executive leadership, and operations teams to align sales strategy with service delivery capabilities.
• Sell comprehensive security solutions including manned guarding, site security, mobile patrols, and related physical security services.
• Lead responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Quotes (RFQs), ensuring accurate scope, pricing, and service alignment.
• Develop and deliver compelling proposals, pricing models, and presentations tailored to client security needs.
• Support pricing strategy development to maximize revenue, margin, and long-term client value.
• Represent the company at local and regional trade shows, industry associations, and client events to strengthen brand presence and market relationships.
Preferred Experience & Industry Knowledge
• 5 years of demonstrated sales success in physical security services, enterprise security solutions, manned guarding, or related services environments.
• 5 years of experience presenting to executive-level stakeholders and managing complex sales cycles.
• 5 years of pricing development experience, including labor-based security models.
• Strong understanding of security operations, staffing models, and service delivery within the physical security industry.

• Strong knowledge of the full sales lifecycle, customer relationship management, and consultative selling.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field required.
