Key Responsibilities
SAP Service Ownership
Act as the operational owner of SAP services, ensuring system performance, stability, and adherence to established service-level agreements. Maintain oversight of system health and proactively address operational risks.
System Reliability & Incident Reduction
Collaborate with development and support teams to identify recurring issues, implement corrective actions, and reduce the frequency and severity of incidents affecting SAP environments.
Enterprise SAP Support
Provide technical expertise across SAP functional and technical domains, including modules such as Materials Management (MM), Plant Maintenance (PM), Finance and Controlling (FI/CO), Basis administration, Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC), and ABAP development.
IT Service Management
Operate within established IT service management frameworks, utilizing practices such as incident management, change management, problem management, and release management to maintain operational excellence.
Operational Governance & Compliance
Work closely with audit and compliance teams to ensure SAP environments meet internal controls and regulatory standards. Support audit processes and maintain documentation required for compliance validation.
Production Change Quality
Review and evaluate system changes before deployment to ensure production stability. Recommend improvements to change processes that enhance system reliability and minimize operational disruption.
Defect Identification & Prioritization
Analyze system defects and operational issues, collaborating with product owners and development teams to prioritize remediation activities.
Documentation & Knowledge Management

Technology Cost & License Management

Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field. Equivalent professional experience may also be considered.
Professional Experience
Approximately 3–5 years of hands-on SAP engineering experience within enterprise IT environments.
SAP Technical Expertise
Experience working with multiple SAP components such as MM, PM, FI/CO, Basis administration, GRC, and ABAP.
Service Management Knowledge
Strong familiarity with ITIL-based service management practices including incident, change, problem, and release management.
Operational Tools
Experience using service management platforms such as ServiceNow for incident tracking, service monitoring, and operational coordination.
Analytical Problem-Solving
Ability to investigate system issues, identify root causes, and collaborate with technical teams to implement long-term solutions.
