What You Will Do
- Initiate and issue purchase orders to international entities and manufacturing facilities immediately following sales order release.
- Oversee the full purchase order lifecycle, from creation and confirmation through shipment and final documentation.
- Review all order data carefully to ensure accuracy in quantities, pricing, specifications, and delivery timelines.
- Manage revisions and updates to existing purchase orders, ensuring all adjustments are documented and communicated promptly to impacted stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across the United States and United Kingdom, as well as factory partners in India and China, to track acknowledgements and production milestones.
- Monitor shipping progress and confirm timely movement of goods to support downstream order management processes.
- Maintain comprehensive and organized records of all internal communications, supplier correspondence, and order activity within designated systems.
- Anticipate potential delays or discrepancies and proactively escalate issues to maintain alignment and avoid disruption.
- Hands on experience generating purchase orders and managing them through the complete order lifecycle.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to catch discrepancies before they become issues.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities without sacrificing accuracy.
- Comfort working across regions and time zones, coordinating with diverse teams and external manufacturing partners.
- Clear and proactive communicator who ensures all stakeholders stay informed of updates and changes.
