Team Member Lawn

Purpose:  The purpose of this position is to provide direct service and actually do the work to be done in the areas of assignment primarily related to lawns. Various duties may include all or part of duties as listed.

Regular attendance is a most important job requirement and an essential function of this position.

Basic Task List:

1. Provide lawn services as assigned
2. Evaluate/Manage the need for supplies in the areas assigned and request additional supplies as needed
3. Follow checklists/task lists established in area of assignment
4. Assist clients with assigned activities/duties/needs
5. Perform quality checks during work performance and upon work completion
6. Maintain a safe, clean and healthy work environment

Lawns:

1. Operates power equipment/tools designed for lawn maintenance and landscaping including push mowers, weed-eaters, edgers, blowers, shovels, rakes, saws, hedgers, etc.
2. Inspect assigned equipment for fuel level and fill up as needed with gas or gas/oil mixtures

Secondary Duties:

1. Must attend staff development and/or work training programs as assigned
2. Must substitute in various work areas as needed

Education:       Minimum of high school diploma/GED preferred

Experience:     Experience in service work in area of job assigned

Knowledge Required/ Willingness to Learn:

1. Knowledge of equipment, materials, supplies used in area of assignment
2. Knowledge of safety aspects of job assignment
3. Knowledge of service functions in area of assignment
4. Knowledge of planning and scheduling
5. Knowledge of quality standards in area of assignment
6. Knowledge of preventive maintenance strategies in area of assignment

Other Requirements

1. The position under consideration may require the individual to be a licensed CDL driver and approved as a driver of Center vehicles
2. The position may require the individual to lift, carry, load items weighing 15 lbs. or more, frequently.
3. The position may require the individual to work flexible, extended hours to include nights and weekends.
4. The position may require the individual to stand for 8 hours or more.
5. Must be knowledgeable of emergency procedures, accident reporting and proper techniques for assisting individuals with disabilities or other limitations.
