What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Services Technician position at WinnMed?
WinnMed is seeking one full time, and one part time Environmental Services Technician to join our Environmental Services team!
The Environmental Services team plays a vital role in keeping the medical center clean and sanitary to assist in the healing process by preventing the spread of infections.
Schedule:
- full-time day hours mostly 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. with weekend shift differential. Every 5th weekend rotation, and holiday rotations (1-2 holidays per year). Hours would be 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
- PRN (about 8 hours per week) evening hours (after 3:30 p.m.) to support Mabel, MN, WinnMed Clinic. No weekend or holiday rotation.
Advancement opportunities are available through EVS Certification courses.
- Possession of or current progression towards a high school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Must have positive attitude and be a team player
- Must be able to read, speak, and write fluent English.
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
