Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining overall cleanliness of hallways and public areas.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and minibar items to meet guest needs efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and dining spaces.
- Follow safety procedures during cleaning tasks and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest satisfaction.
- Adhere to hotel policies on sanitation standards, confidentiality, and guest privacy at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial work; hotel housekeeping experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and sanitation standards within hospitality or industrial settings.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, carpet cleaners, and floor scrubbers effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness across multiple areas.
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and custodial best practices is a plus.
