Duties
- Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards
- Maintain public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces with meticulous attention to detail
- Perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to ensure a spotless appearance
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to meet guest needs efficiently
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to ensure prompt resolution
- Assist with laundry duties when necessary, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality settings preferred; hotel experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and floor care methods for various surfaces
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods, bending, lifting moderate loads, and walking throughout the shift
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Familiarity with custodial equipment and industrial cleaning tools is advantageous
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is desirable but not required
