Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing exceptional customer service and assistance with check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage multi-line phone systems, respond promptly to guest inquiries, and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions
- Utilize property management systems (PMS) such as Synxis to process reservations, modifications, and cancellations accurately
- Conduct the night audit by reconciling daily financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring data accuracy for the next day’s operations
- Handle guest requests, complaints, or issues efficiently using strong customer service problem-solving skills and maintain positive guest relations
- Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure safety and security of guests and staff during overnight hours
- Maintain a professional appearance and phone etiquette while managing front desk responsibilities with enthusiasm and efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort setting
- Familiarity with hospitality reservation systems such as Synxis or similar property management software (PMS)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest services, and hotel management best practices
- Excellent phone communication skills, including handling multi-line phone systems with professionalism
- Ability to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous experience with night audit functions or hotel experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to solve customer service problems quickly and efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
