The Opportunity
As our Litigation Legal Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work on high-value cases that are often ground-breaking and newsworthy.
Accountable for
- Professionally communicate with clients, experts, courts, and defense counsel
- Prepare documents for filing in both state and federal courts
- Manage and calendar court deadlines
- Support our attorneys in all phases of litigation
- Assist in drafting pleadings and complaints
- Assist paralegals in propounding and responding to discovery
- Maintain organized case files
- 2 years of civil litigation experience
- Personal Injury experience highly preferred
- Ability to act independently and in a team-based environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Confident in a paperless work environment
- Knowledge of e-Filing and California rules
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to commute to Beverly Hills
- Type at least 40 wpm
- $50,000 - $90,000 depending on experience plus performance-based incentives
