JOB SUMMARY:
The Minot Business Development Representative focuses on identifying prospective clients, building and maintaining strong relationships, and promoting training offerings that support workforce readiness and regional economic growth. Serving as the face of the TrainND brand, this role emphasizes trust-building, client engagement, and increasing participation in training initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Acquisition & Relationship Building
- Present and promote TrainND’s training solutions to individuals and groups in the Minot greater area
Identify and pursue new client opportunities through networking, cold calling, referrals, and collaboration with TrainND staff and
instructors.
- Establish and maintain long-term partnerships with clients
Opportunity Management
- Negotiate training terms and pricing with clients.
- Identify new opportunities for TrainND NW to expand services
- Maintain ongoing communication throughout the sales cycle and after to ensure client satisfaction
Market and Data Analysis
- Track and report sales activities using MS Dynamics, CRM, or similar ERP systems
Assist with strategy development with the Program/Business Development Manager by reporting on market conditions and
customer needs
- Analyze industry trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to identify sales opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage logistics and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with workforce training programs and alternative learning formats.
- Travel required with this position, primarily within the Northwest region of North Dakota.
SALARY: $55,000-$70,000 additional incentive pay available for this position
