Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager/CSR to join our growing insurance agency. This individual will be responsible for managing the day-to-day service, renewal, and remarketing of our commercial book.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and service.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding coverages, billing, claims, endorsements, certificates, and policy changes.
- Provide coverage guidance and recommendations based on client needs and exposures.
- Review upcoming renewals and identify accounts that require remarketing.
- Coordinate with producers and carrier partners to ensure successful renewal outcomes.
- Support agency retention goals through proactive account management.
- Prepare and submit complete applications and submission packages.
- Maintain knowledge of carrier appetites, underwriting guidelines, and market conditions.
- Issue certificates of insurance, evidence of insurance, and related documents.
- Manage carrier correspondence and incoming documentation.
- Ensure policy servicing requests are handled accurately and timely.
- Provide guidance throughout the claims process as needed.
- Maintain accurate agency records and activity documentation.
- Follow agency procedures and carrier requirements.
Required
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License.
- Minimum 3–5 years of commercial lines insurance experience.
- Experience independently managing commercial renewals and remarketing accounts.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products
- Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Preferred
- Experience working within an independent insurance agency.
- Experience with AMS360 or similar agency management systems
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
