Summary:
We’re currently seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual to immediately fill a Staff Accountant position in our Corporate Headquarters which will report to the Assistant Controller. They will be working closely with FP&A and the Controller. The Staff Accountant will assist with the month end close, daily transactions and preparation and review of the financial statements for the company and related reconciliations.
Essential Functions:
- Assist and review month, quarter and year end closes and related GL and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review financial statements to summarize the company’s financial status, including balance sheet, income statements, and relevant statistical data.
- Assist with preparations for third party audits and tax returns.
- Understand and manage the connection between the ledger and subledger.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Work independently with strong time management.
- Strong analytical, technology and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a team and prioritize based on deadlines.
- Microsoft Excel, specifically with strong VLOOKUP and Pivot table knowledge, is a must.
- Degree in Accounting with a minimum of a 3.3 GPA required
- Strong understanding of GAAP and applicable regulations.
Hours of Work:
- NOT a remote positions, this role is full-time in office, standard work hours are; Monday-Friday, with regular and predictable attendance.
Salary : $60,000 - $66,000
