What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Project Manager - Traveling position at Wide Effect Talent Solutions?
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, staffing, and execution of electrical, automation, and MES construction projects, ensuring safety, profitability, timeliness, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate strong relationships with clients and industry partners.
- Promote and support a positive company culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and growth.
- Coordinate material procurement with the Purchasing Department and external vendors to support project schedules.
- Actively participate in regular internal meetings including ORM, staffing, jobsite, financial, and project management sessions.
- Conduct bi-annual performance reviews for field employees, provide coaching for career development, and recommend merit increases based on performance.
- Partner with Human Resources on recruiting, employee relations, and team development efforts.
- Collaborate with the Estimating Department to review and validate outgoing project estimates.
- Perform regular site visits to monitor job progress, engage with field crews, ensure safety practices, and maintain strong relationships with foremen, general contractors, and clients.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Construction, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- OR
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the electrical field and at least 1 year of electrical estimating experience
- Travel: Required
Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
