- Lead the development of detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets using tools like Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project to ensure timely delivery.
- Oversee electrical system design, review schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings to confirm compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and project specifications.
- Manage procurement processes including construction estimating, contracts, and vendor negotiations to secure materials and services needed for project execution.
- Coordinate construction activities on-site, supervising electricians and subcontractors to maintain safety protocols and quality standards.
- Utilize software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for project documentation, progress tracking, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and change orders.
- Monitor project progress through regular site inspections, schedule updates, and performance metrics to identify potential delays or issues early.
- Foster effective communication among stakeholders by conducting meetings, providing progress reports, and resolving conflicts swiftly to keep projects on track.
- Proven experience in electrical engineering or construction management with a strong background in electrical systems design and installation.
- Demonstrated expertise in project management software including Primavera P6, Primavera (P6), HeavyBid, ProCore, Bluebeam, and Schematics reading.
- Extensive knowledge of NEC regulations, system design principles, blueprint reading, and construction site safety practices.
- Hands-on experience managing large-scale electrical projects from inception through completion with a focus on scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Strong understanding of contracts management, construction estimating techniques, and procurement processes.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in fast-paced environments.
