Responsibilities:
- Review drawings, specifications, and pre-bid information to define project scope and pricing requirements
- Prepare detailed trade scopes of work and supporting documentation for internal review
- Solicit, analyze, and level subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure accuracy, alignment, and competitiveness
- Develop pricing alternatives and recommend best-value solutions based on cost, quality, constructability, and materials
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Support project teams after award, including pricing change orders and assisting with contract-related issues
- Collaborate with the proposal coordinator to assemble complete proposals, including schedules, narratives, and organizational charts
- Develop conceptual estimates and proposals to support business development efforts
- Negotiate and issue subcontracts
Qualifications
- :Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferre
- d7 years of estimating experience in commercial or civil constructio
- nProficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with preconstruction and estimating softwar
- eStrong knowledge of estimating methodologies, cost control, and conceptual estimatin
- gAbility to develop accurate, well-organized proposals with minimal supervisio
- nClear written and verbal communication skills to remember and explain inclusions, exclusions, and clarification
- sStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectivel
