Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a positive recovery role model demonstrating that long-term recovery is achievable.
- Coach individuals in identifying strengths, interests, goals, and growth areas.
- Support the transition from clinician-directed service plans to self-directed recovery plans.
- Promote self-advocacy and ensure that individuals' goals remain central to their care.
- Connect individuals with community resources, recovery groups, and support programs.
- Encourage engagement in meaningful activities such as education, work, fitness, and hobbies.
- Maintain regular contact with individuals after program completion to support sustained recovery.
- Recruit and enroll eligible participants into the Moms Do Care Program.
- Manage data collection and entry for required reporting systems (Virtual Gateway, GPRA).
- High school diploma or equivalent (Recovery Coach training strongly preferred).
- Minimum of five years of sustained recovery (lived experience required).
- Experience working in the addiction or recovery field is required.
- Strong understanding of local communities and effective outreach strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate cultural and linguistic competency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
