Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one nutrition counseling and medical nutrition therapy
- Support weekly diabetes clinics, group medical visits, and WIC programs
- Deliver culturally sensitive nutrition education for chronic disease prevention and management
- Collect and document anthropometric data and dietary assessments
- Prescribe appropriate WIC food packages and create educational resources
- Facilitate group sessions, cooking demonstrations, and community outreach events
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to promote health equity
- Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Public Health Nutrition, or related field
- Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) a plus but not required
- At least 1 year of clinical or community nutrition counseling experience
- Strong documentation and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with multicultural and diverse populations
- Flexibility to work at multiple sites, with occasional evenings or weekends
