A prestigious client partner firm is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to support its Healthcare Practice Group in Roseland, NJ. This full-time role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment. The paralegal will assist with corporate healthcare transactions, regulatory compliance, and entity formations while ensuring seamless legal operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file corporate documents (UCC Financing Statements, entity formations, bylaws, agreements, and annual reports).
- Support attorneys in healthcare M&A, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Conduct due diligence for corporate transactions, including business licensing, Medicare/Medicaid enrollment, and regulatory compliance.
- Assist with state licensing, regulatory filings, and applications (DOH, CMS, and professional boards).
- Organize corporate records, draft and review contracts, and manage data rooms for healthcare transactions.
- Conduct research on HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and other healthcare compliance matters.
- Provide administrative and transactional support, ensuring timely processing of legal documents.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal certificate from an accredited program.
- 5 years of corporate paralegal experience in a law firm or legal setting, with a focus on healthcare transactions and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Adobe (Kofax), and document management systems.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional approach to confidential information.
- Knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations (HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback, Medicare/Medicaid) is a plus.
Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
