List of Responsibilities/Duties
• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience or training in this or similar position preferred but not required.
• A.B.O. certification a plus
Physical Demands
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to write legibly.
• Must be able to communicate via phone.
• Must have manual dexterity to work with optical tools.
• Must be able to read and enter data into the computer.
- Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses
- Take accurate measurements and ensure proper lens fit
- Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance
- Process orders and maintain accurate records
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or questions
Minimum Demonstrated Skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
