Whitewater Eye Centers is seeking a full-time Optometrist to join our physician-owned practice. This position will primarily serve Richmond, Connersville, and Greenfield, offering a blend of routine and medical eye care within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and detect eye diseases.
- Diagnose and manage ocular conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration.
- Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery.
- Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document clinical findings.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in optometry and eye care technology.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state license to practice optometry.
- Strong knowledge of ocular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
