A rapidly growing technology firm specializing in AI cloud platforms is seeking a SEC Reporting Director to join its Manhattan, NY office. This hybrid position will be the creating and owning the SEC Reporting function, reporting directly to the Controller and working closely with the CEO, Head of Operations, and Head of Finance.

- Lead preparation and review of S-1, 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings, including financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A.
- Coordinate with auditors, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders during SEC filings.
- Manage Workiva implementation, EDGAR/XBRL tagging, and reporting workflows.
- Maintain and enforce disclosure controls and procedures in accordance with SOX 302 and 906.
- Support preparation of earnings materials, board reports, and investor disclosures.
- Research and document technical accounting and SEC reporting issues.
- Partner with FP&A and Accounting to ensure alignment between management reporting and external disclosures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
- 8 years of experience in SEC reporting, preferably within a Big 4 firm or public company.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC, and PCAOB standards.
- Experience with Workiva, EDGAR, and IPO readiness projects.
