- Night Shift.
- 7pm-7:30am.
- Assess and monitor patients presenting with acute illnesses or injuries, identifying critical conditions quickly.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments according to physician orders and emergency protocols.
- Operate and manage emergency medical equipment, including cardiac monitors, defibrillators, and ventilators.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and lab personnel, to develop and implement immediate care plans.
- Document patient care, interventions, and responses accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) while maintaining compliance with hospital policies and standards.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current RN license for the state of Connecticut.
- 3 full years of acute care experience in this specialty.
- BLS & ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
