WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Radiology Technician for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital System in Morristown, NJ.
Job Function:
Assist proceduralists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro‑interventional cases, including scrubbing directly alongside specialty physicians
Operate floor‑ and ceiling‑mounted fluoroscopic imaging systems
Identify, retrieve, and circulate complex interventional products and devices
Utilize strong critical‑thinking skills to anticipate procedural needs during high‑risk neuro‑interventional cases
Operate power injectors for iodinated contrast media during diagnostic and interventional procedures
Maintain strict sterile technique and infection‑prevention standards when setting up procedural trays
Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons
Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record and send images to Sectra/PACS
Perform post‑intervention groin management
Deliver high‑quality care in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity procedural environment
Job Requirements:
3–5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist OR 3–5 years as a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) with NJ radiographic licensure
High School Diploma/GED
Associate Degree OR completion of an accredited radiographic program
NJ Radiographic Licensure (mandatory)
ARRT Radiography (R) certification
BLS from an AHS‑approved American Heart Association provider
