Operations Analyst - Quant Trading Firm

Our client a Quantitative Trading Firm providing markets and liquidity with a specific focus on technology is seeking a Operations Analyst. This role will sit on the trading desk and handle a mixture of trade support, settlements and process improvement revolving around best execution practices! They offer a hybrid schedule, requiring 4 days in office.

Job Function

• The role sits in Operations, specifically on their Settlements team - the group responsible for ensuring that the trades match and settle on a timely basis in the market.
• Work closely with their clearing firms, brokers and other counterparties, as well as interfacing with their Operations and Trading teams in London and Hong Kong to ensure that all parties to the trade agree on the terms, and that securities and cash move promptly to their correct locations.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• 2-4 years of Settlements experience from a bank or fund, can pass a case study.
• VBA or other programming experience is also highly desirable.
