Fund Accounting Analyst – Direct Lending / Private Credit

A rapidly growing hedge fund, is seeking a Fund Accounting Analyst for Direct Lending and Private Credit to join one of its largest funds within the private credit portfolio, based in Manhattan, NY. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing fund accounting reports, supporting month-end close activities and analyzing portfolio transactions. This hybrid role offers a great work environment with four days in the office and Fridays remote.

Job Function

• Manage monthly and quarterly fund closings in coordination with fund administrators.
• Calculate and review management fee and incentive fee waterfalls.
• Prepare and review partners’ capital statements.
• Prepare and review capital call and distribution calculations and investor notices.
• Review fund expenses for accuracy and coordinate accruals and payments.
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual GAAP financial statements.
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• 2 - 4 years of fund accounting experience, specifically in Private Credit, Direct Lending, or Private Equity.
• Current or prior experience at a Big 4 firm or a similar caliber organization with Asset or Investment Management clients.
• CPA preferred.
