Fund Accountant - Digital Assets Fund

A prominent digital assets fund in Manhattan, NY is seeking a Fund Accountant to join their growing team. In this hybrid role, the Fund Accountant will also take ownership of operations, supporting the firm’s continued expansion. Job Function

• Manage and perform analysis of daily net asset value across multiple vehicles and track capital movements.
• Liaise with 3rd party fund administrators and auditors. Review and account for the Fund's investment in various fund vehicles, strategic investments and hard assets.
• Work closely with executive leadership, deal team, and technology team to enhance strategic and financial processes.
• Manage and analyze financial results on a monthly basis and report on variance analyses versus plan and prior periods to efficiently report results.
• Oversee financial close and planning process. Maintain and monitor prepaid, accrual, and amortization schedules.
• Manage complex fund operations and participate in strategic growth initiatives.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• 6-12 years of accounting experience.
• Strong background in fund accounting, with a focus on hedge funds (HF experience required; private equity experience not applicable).
• Crypto or digital assets experience is a strong plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred but not required).
