Financial Controller

We are seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to oversee accounting operations for a growing medical device manufacturing company. This role manages a small accounting team and partners closely with executive leadership to support financial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Job Function

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery to leadership.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Strengthen and maintain internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders (e.g., auditors, tax advisors) to support audits, process improvements, and financial initiatives.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience supporting a business with manufacturing, commercial, and R&D functions is highly valued.
• Prior experience in medical device, manufacturing, or other regulated industry strongly preferred.
• Proven experience managing and developing a team.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management.
• CPA plus.
• Italian or French language proficieny a plus.
