Financial Analyst

WCS is currently seeking a Finance Associate for a temporary opportunity supporting pediatric services within a healthcare setting. This three-month leave coverage role offers the opportunity to contribute to financial operations in a mission-driven environment focused on patient care, research, and education. The position provides valuable exposure to healthcare finance and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Job Function

• Prepare and review budgets to support departmental financial planning.
• Develop and run financial projections and forecasts.
• Reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy and consistency across reports.
• Coordinate with leadership and finance partners on financial reporting and analysis.
• Manage and track departmental expenses.
• Process expense reimbursements in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure adherence to strict deadlines for financial deliverables.
• Support financial reporting and documentation processes.
• Utilize strong technical and analytical skills to support financial operations.
• Identify discrepancies and assist in resolving financial issues.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, budgeting, or accounting
• Proven experience preparing and reviewing budgets, running financial projections, and reconciling financial data
• Strong technical skills with advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, macros) and experience with financial systems
